Plastic Surgeon
Emeritus Professor, Georgia Medical College, Atlanta, USA
Graduated from Ein Shams University. He did his internship in Bradford Royal ‎Infirmary in England and residency in Winnipeg Canada, he then practiced plastic ‎surgery in Canada. ‎
He was hired as a professor in plastic surgery at the medical college of Georgia as ‎well as chief of plastic surgery at V.A. Hospitals in the U.S.A. He is the C.E.O. Of the ‎plastic surgicenter in Atlanta, in the U.S.A., Dokki, and Maadi in Egypt. ‎
Dr. ElSahy is an active member in many American, Canadian and international ‎societies. Dr. ElSahy has over one hundred original papers published in international ‎journals of plastic surgery. ‎
Recently he published two text books on plastic surgery of the nose and the ears ‎respectively.‎

Dr. Siegfried Hofmann specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the knee joint. His expertise ranges from conservative therapy, joint-preserving interventions, artificial partial joint replacement, implantation of total knee arthroplasty to major revision surgery. A specialization is the clarification of painful knee prostheses.

Dr. Siegfried Hofmann was born in Bregenz and completed his medical studies in Vienna and completed his habilitation at the Med Uni Vienna in 1999. He trained as an orthopedic specialist at the Orthopedic KH Gersthof under Prof. Martin Salzer. After years of teaching at the Med Uni Graz in 2016 he was awarded the title of university professor. Numerous trips abroad and the ASG Traveling Fellowship allowed him to complete international training in internationally renowned centers very early on. From 2000 to 2011, he headed the Department of Endoprosthetics at LKH Stolzalpe and has set up the International Training Center for Knee Surgery. Over 3000 surgeons from across Europe, the Middle East and Russia have been trained by his team and him on the Stolzalpe for knee surgery for the last 15 years. Since 2011, Dr. med. Hofmann knee courses in 12 different countries for training purposes. For the optimal care of his patients, he is still working part-time at the LKH Stolzalpe.

Scientific activities
He has written more than 150 international scientific publications, book contributions and congress proceedings. Siegfried Hofmann published during his career so far. He is regularly invited as a guest speaker by major international congresses in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the USA and supports more than 30 international knee surgery courses per year as a speaker and organizer. He is a founding member of the European Knee Society, a member of the European Society of Sports, Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA) and an honorary member of international scientific societies.
