His practice is based in the Northwest. He strives for surgical excellence and believes in involving his patients in decision making throughout their treatment. Mr. Morgan offers a service that reflects current thinking and best medical practice in orthopaedic surgery and most importantly respond to the needs of the local community
 
Following completion of higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery Mr. Morgan was awarded a place on the highly regarded foot and ankle training fellowship in Leeds Teaching Hospitals in UK with the world renowned foot and ankle surgeon, Mr. Nick Harris. Following this, further fellowship training was undertaken in foot and ankle surgery focusing on sports injuries.
 
He has extensive experience in complex foot and ankle reconstruction surgery, sports injuries, foot and ankle arthroscopic surgery, ankle replacement surgery, foot and ankle minimally invasive surgery, bunion and lesser toes surgery.
 
He currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle disorders at St. Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals in Liverpool, UK.
 
He lectures at national and international conferences and has published extensively within his field. He is the author of over 50 original publications covering many aspects of orthopaedics especially foot and ankle surgery.
 
He is a member of the British foot and ankle society (BOFAS), American Academy of orthopaedic surgeons (AAOS) and European foot and ankle society (EFAS).

Soon after the internship Dr. Elnikety relocated to UK and progressed through post graduate training in various UK hospitals. After basic surgical training he undertook 6 years of orthopaedic specialist rotation trained on all orthopaedic subspecialties. Upon completion of the general orthopaedic training he was awarded a subspecialised orthopaedic fellowship in upper limb surgery for 12 months at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, one of the most prestigious group of hospitals in UK and well known hospitals worldwide.
 
He maintained a strong academic progress, He was awarded doctorate degree from University college London. He was also awarded FRCS (Tr&Orth), FEBOT, SICOT, FSEM, MRCS certificates and post graduate diploma in Orthopaedic Engineering. He conducted several research studies that were presented in several national and international conferences and were published in prestigious medical journals.
 
His current position is consultant orthopaedic surgeon subspecialised in shoulder surgery. He consults and operates on various orthopaedic conditions, he treats patients with general orthopaedic trauma and fractures as well as specialised shoulder trauma. He also performs arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery including shoulder replacement surgery

Mohamed Eid Fawzy

He has been doing invasive cardiology since July 1969. It was then, diagnostic catheterization until 1984 and I have already performed over 10,000 catheterization of various cardiac diseases.
 
He started percutaneous coronary angioplasty since 1984 subsequently, in 1992 by stenting. He performed more than 1000 PTCA with or without stenting over the last 20 years.
 
He started the program of balloon valvuloplasty and angioplasty in 1985 and modified the technique.
 
Pulmonary Balloon Valvuloplasty – started 1985
 
He did the largest series in adult over 100 pts without morbidity and mortality and I published several articles in renowned peer review journal. The last one was in American Heart Journal 2007
 
17-year follow-up in 2007.
 
Coarctation Balloon Angioplasty
 
Started 1986 – He did the largest series in adult over 65 pts, follow-up over 18-year with no mortality or morbidity. He has 4 published articles in American Heart Journal, Journal of American College of Cardiology March 2004. The last 2 articles became landmark to the extent it was published in the Year Book of Medicine 2000, and the Year Book of Vascular Surgery 2001. He was invited as guest speaker in European Congress of Cardiology 1995 in Amsterdam on Symposium of Coarctation Balloon Angioplasty.
 
Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty
 
Since 1989, KFSH had the largest single center of database of mitral balloon valvotomy; we have excellent result in over 580 patients, no mortality or major morbidity and published several seminal papers on MBV.
 
He still doing large load of clinical cardiology and I do 3 clinics/week and see most of the VIP with cardiac problem at KFSH and get involved in their care. He also teach other cardiologist the technique of pulmonary balloon valvotomy, coarctation balloon angioplasty and mitral balloon valvuloplasty.
 
He also engaged in teaching: on Saturday Ward Round; teaching residents and fellows and assistant clinical cardiology and also giving grand round in the Departments of Cardiovascular Diseases and Medicine.
 
Research
 
Abstracts: He is a regular speaker in the following meetings held annually: American College of Cardiology Meeting, European Society of Cardiology, Egyptian Society of Cardiology, Saudi Heart Association. He presented 173 abstracts in these international meetings over the last 30 years.
 
Publications: He published 92 papers in renowned peer review journals.
